Black Birth Equity NOW (BBEN) exists to advance Black maternal health in Arizona through culturally relevant perinatal support, workforce development, community-based participatory research, and by advocating for systemic change. We work to ensure Black mothers and birthing people receive the dignity, respect, and support they deserve throughout their reproductive journey.

Goal - Ensure access to culturally grounded maternal health care and education that empowers Black families with knowledge, self-advocacy skills, and confidence throughout the perinatal journey.

Goal - Equip Black perinatal health professionals with culturally relevant training and business support to enhance the quality of care they provide to families and to build thriving, sustainable practices.
